Meditation without expectations allows for a better experience. Just being at anchor on our sailboat is meditative. Walking in the woods or looking out the window at a beautiful nature view. This is yet another example of how we each experience something differently. Not better or worse, just different. The more I let go of expectations the more enjoyable it is.

Soon I’d be leaving my area and moving away. Before leaving, I wanted to visit all the places that mean so much to me. There’s a park that is quiet and offers both woodlands and water. The day my husband and I visited it we saw a beautiful fox that spent a little time with us. He was just as curious about us as we were about him.
